“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Peter 1:3) We Thank and praise God that we have “a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God,” ” who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” While in service for our Lord and Master Jesus Christ, reproving the world of sin, and preaching to the rebellious “repent or perish”(Luke 13:3), and “go, and sin no more”(John 8:11), we face many trials and temptations. Yet we also share in one great blessing, because we serve a GOD and KING, and “his kingdom ruleth over all.” We Praise God that in JESUS CHRIST is found, the, victory over sin (Matthew 1:21), sickness (Matthew 8:16,17), satan (Luke 10:19), depression and anxiety (Isaiah 26:3), spiritual blindness (2 Corinthians 4:6), and eternal death (John 11:26), by pure and simple faith in Him and in His Word!
As we continue to trust Him, we continue to have victory! Thus far we have minsitered for the Lord on over 45 campuses in the United States, “preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ.” During the last 2 College terms we preached on 20 Campuses, and 10 were first time visits:
SUNY Albany in NY; Hudson Valley CC in Troy NY; Community College of Philadelphia; Temple University and University of Pennsylvania, both in Philadelphia; Northern Kentucky University, as well as Kentucky University; Westchester University in Pennsylvania; University of Cincinnati and Miami University in Miami Ohio.
While in Pennsylvania we had several disciples of the Lord join us in preaching and witnessing publicly for the Lord. Brother Aden, a local pastor in Philadelphia was faithful to the Lord, and ministering publicly in every meeting on campus in his area.
Last Fall the Lord used several preachers, including myself in declaring the gospel at University of Georgia.
The charges of simple battery against me were dropped in court last winter, and the prosecutor concluded that my actions were justified. Though this situation caused my family and me grief and great stress, we learned and have been built up from it.
The Lord led us to Florida again this year in late winter where we held 4 meetings on 2 campuses. We again preached with our dear friends and hero’s in the Army of the Lord; Brother and Sister Armstrong.
We were blessed when we were invited to preach on the streets in Immokalee Florida one Sunday afternoon with an independent Holiness Church who courteously lodged us. After service 7 of us went and handed out tracts, witnessed and preached for about an hour. Very few spoke English, but a sister was on to translate my preaching.
After preaching at NKU and on the campus in Cincinnati, we concluded our Spring semester tour preaching 3 consecutive day in Miami Ohio.
Sodomites, commies, atheist’s, Muslims and your average snowflake freshman were in the crowd. Some strongly convicted others not so. The truth of God clashed with their humanistic, pagan, anti Christ concepts and creeds. We observe first hand satan’s tactic to damn their souls through “ever ‘learning'”. Today’s liberal university students continue to demonstrate their weak mindedness, their inability to think for themselves, and their intolerance of Christians. Universities students manifest more like abject ideology crusaders rather than pupils of progress; but sadly their ideology is from hell. Unless they embrace the truth of God’s word, hell will be their home.
